日本の銀行口座への送金が可能になりました。

■もう少し詳しい解説

ＰＡＹＰＡＬというサービスは以前ご紹介しました。ＰＡＹＰＡＬに口座を作
ると、口座を持っている人の間だけでなく、口座のない人などにも送金ができ
る、という仕組みで、しかも送金手数料は無料か非常に安価、というものです。

さてこのサービスの問題は、アメリカに口座がある人には非常に便利でも、日
本への送金ができない点でした。ところが今度、日本の銀行口座を登録してそ
こへ送金できるようになりました。どうやら手数料は金額にかかわらず７ドル
のようです。ただ残念ながら、日本の口座から自動的に引き落として送金する、
ということはできません。それができるのはアメリカの口座に限られています。

ＰＡＹＰＡＬに口座を開いておけば、他のＰＡＹＰＡＬ利用者からのドルだて
送金を、安価に日本の口座に送ることができます。ただ日本からの口座の開設
には、クレジットカードの登録が必要で、その確認に少し時間がかかりますか
ら、今日口座の申し込みをして明日送金、というわけには行かないようです。

以下にこちらからの問合せに対するＰＡＹＰＡＬからの返答を示します。

Thank you for contacting PayPal.

To add your Japanese bank account to your PayPal Account, please follow 
these steps: 

1.  Log into your account at http://www.paypal.com by entering your email 
address and password in the Member Login box.  This will take you to the 
"My Account" page.

2.  Click the "Profile" subtab.    

3.  Click the "Bank Account" link. 

4.  Click the "Add Bank Account" button.

5.  Click on the "Add Japanese bank account" link.  

6.  Under the "Add Bank Account" heading, you will need to register your 
bank account information.  Enter the name of the bank and select whether 
this is a checking or savings account.  Then you will need to enter the 
7-digit bank code and the branch code.  You will also need to enter your 
bank account number, as your bank requires it for electronic funds 
transfers.  Also, please make sure that the Japanese bank account that you 
add is denominated in Japanese Yen only, because the currency is converted 
prior to being received by your bank.  

7.  Please verify that the bank account information that you have entered 
is correct.  

8.  Once you have verified that the information is correct, click the "Add 
Bank Account" button.  This will take you to the "Bank Account Confirmed" 
page.  You are now able to send funds from your PayPal Account to your bank
account.  

Please note that the following rules apply to withdrawing funds to a 
Japanese bank account: 

-Withdrawals will take 5-7 business days to post to your account. 

-The minimum withdrawal amount is $25 U.S. Dollars. 

-A fee of $7.00 U.S. Dollars will be assessed for each withdrawal prior to 
conversion to Japanese Yen.  

-Returned withdrawals incur a $5 fee in U.S. Dollars. 

-Japanese bank accounts may not be used for adding funds to your PayPal 
Account, Instant Transfer, or eCheck payments. 

-Japanese members must add a credit card to withdraw funds to a U.S. bank 
account.  To withdraw to a Japanese bank account, you must also confirm the
credit card.
